A friend of mine is wanting to sell me a Stang. Its an 88 GT I think. It runs and he only wants 200.00 for it but it has no title. He said if I wanted to go through the crap to get one I could but he never cause he wanted a track car. I guess we will see what happens tommorro. Hell if it starts and runs its worth 200.00 so I will buy it. Could there be three stangs in the stable for Sam??????? The world may never know.

I sure as hell wish I could find a deal like that. I wouldn't even need the title. Just strip the sucker, and part out the extra stuff and give it to the scrap yard. Nice deal Yo. Congrats if it happens.

well I went and looked at it. The battery was dead so it wouldnt start. It tried to start and sounded good though. She assured me that it ran. The thing is in good shape. The paint job sucks cause someone has keyed pretty much every panel on it. It was an 82 not an 88. The thing has an 86 front clip on it. The moter looked ok. It had chrome valve covers and an edelbrock intake/carb/filter on it. The tranny shifted well but it wasnt moving. has the old school rims. Tires looked decent but to me it seems after reading a letter from the origional owner that getting a title would be damned near impossible. He seems like a big douche bag. I am not sure if I am going to get it or not now. Oh and some how it went from oh just come get it out of my garage to buy it for 200.00 to now the price went up to 500.00. 500.00 would be a heck of a deal if I NEEDED any of the parts but the 83 is in perfect shape............ I dont know if any of ya are in Cali and would want it let me know. Like I said though I dont think making it street legal would ever happen.

I think 500 is still a good deal even with the title missing. I'm not familiar with the requirements in CA in obtaining a missing title, but I would be tempted to buy it anyway.

It is weighing heavy in my mind. I do need the rear end out of it. Mine is making some noises that cant be good so we will have to wait and see. When I lemon checked it on google it told me it was an 83. I wouldnt mind putting the front clip on mine either. I have always liked the 86 clip better that pre. We will see I guess.
