No...yes...yes. Spoiler NO. panel and rear bumper yes. I vote change the spoiler. Something to offset the hood. Roush maybe?

I thought the spoiler might have been a bit much, but the more I look at it, the more I like it...

I cant say much, our double stack is black and our factory spoiler is black. I think it lloks ok on our car. We have the bezels around the taillights painted black and I think that Gary wants to do the little piece at the bottom if it not already...(cant remember)
But its your decision Sony, do what you like and thats all that should matter.

I say paint the spoiler and trunk, but personally, I don't like the bumper idea :ugh2: ...seems like its getting popular though...

I like it all, but I would do the black Steeda wing instead of stock.

I say do it all and leave the wing off. Love the wingless look.

Thanks for the opinions! I'm still undecided about the spoiler. It's either that one or none. Wanted to get the 03/04 Cobra spoiler, but I keep going back and forth about it. Who knows, I guess I'll decide on that once she gets her butt painted.

I kinda like it black, I think that no paint would make it disappear, which is also cool because I'm not a fan of spoilers anyway, unless you count those awesome looking duckbills. Either way, Ellie will have a sexxy little butt when you finish. Ellie and I have confidence in you :nailbite: :nailbite: :nailbite:

The difference in that car having a black spoiler and hers having a black spoiler is that the one Blue posted also has a black hood that ties together with the spoiler. IMHO If you paint the spoiler black it's just going to look out of place. Yes you will have black on the back of the car but I think the black spoiler would need to be tied to something more dominant on the car to pull off the proper look. A black rear panel isn't going to really dominate the appearance on the car but people are going to notice a black spoiler and I think more than anything that people will look at it and think oh this person just slapped a black spoiler on the car. If there was black on the hood then it would tie the two together. THIS IS ENTIRELY MY OPINION...I'm not in anyway trying to discredit what anyone else has said about the car. And most importantly it is your car do what you want and what you like. If you're happy with it who cares what everyone else thinks.

I completely agree there needs to be more black on the car to tie it all together..
I have seen one where the raised portion of the stock GT hood was painted black, that would give you the same look as the car I posted above :)

I agree. But I do beleive that she just got the flames painted not too long ago, so doing anything with the hood is probably out :ugh2: I think that just the black part of the trunk would be cool by itself, but I wouldn't overdo it on the back with the black....that's just my opinion :silly:

I REALLY like that! Wonder where he got it??
I'm not too sure about the spoiler, I thought maybe I had enough black on her with the rims, chin spoiler, and the grille delete to make the spoiler look ok. But no, the hood will not be painted again for a long time! And I'm not going to paint the spoiler purple to match it either, don't worry lol. I might take a pic of the front of the car and chop the spoiler in black, see how that looks. Still undecided.
Thanks for all your opinions!

Don't get me wrong I wasn't suggesting repainting the hood. No way, I like what you have done with the hood, but what I am suggesting is that you don't have enough dominate black parts on the car to support the black spoiler. Yes you have some black pieces but they're not dominate pieces.

Hey,
Check the back of my red car! The panel that installs between the rear tail lights was originally designed for the 35th LE. If you like that look, you can get it at a few parts locations.
I have always been curious about how the '03-'04 Cobra spoiler would look with that rear panel!
I think the spiler in black looks fine, but maybe someone coul post a pic of a Cobra with the black rear panel? Then you would know what that look would do for your car! :thumpupn:
