ok, so the original paint protection was the bra...
and now they have 3m cling like stuff...which is expensive

..I was thinking, I wonder if window tint you can get from walmart (that static cling stuff) may work as a subsitute for the 3m? I remember using it to tint my hatch window when in highschool and I remember it had some thickness to it.

Does this sound crazy?

I'm so over budget I'm trying to avoid buying a bra for the stang for this trip.

is this stupid?
or...smart?

nothing wrong with trying that...if you travel alot, why not just try to find a used bra(no pun intended)

I have the 3m clear protection on the front of mine and it has held up very well.
