I had one of several boxes come in during the week. This first shipment had a C&L 76 mm MAF and the True flow tube. I just could not make myself wait so on it went Friday.
Upon start up I noticed that the engine was sounding a bit odd. It seemed smooth, but had more vibration than normal and in general just sounded more grumbly. Like I said though it is running pretty smopoth just odd. Power band seems to be unchanged, with a slight increase in Throttle response. My reading on another forum indicated that clocking the MAF to 10 or 11 o'clock would help. This was done, and it did solve some of the vibtration, but not all.
Any suggestions? Or am I just over attentive and I am hearring the increrased air flow going in to the engine? At this point the rest of the Air System is basically stock......Need them other boxes :hmmm:
