Build Number?

I notice the Mustang profile asks for "build number". Is that the sequence number in the VIN (6 digits)? If not, how do you find it? Thanks.

Thats for specialty cars like roush or saleen... it usually tells you what car number you are (build number)

There's some place that you can find out YOUR build number.. I'd love to find out.

Thanks. That makes sense since I thought the sequence # in my VIN was way too high...over 106000. Must be all the vehicles that came off the Flat Rock line in '05 (when I bought my '06), not just Mustangs. Regards
