Friends Fox Body Totaled at local Meeting spot by drunk driver (video)

After the Pony trails cruise yesterday my car club went down and met up at our local meeting spot at Taco Time in Lynnwood, WA....the story behind this is there are roughly 50 cars in the parking lot of Taco Time, crazy drunk guy beats up his kid in a nearby parking lot, kicks the kid out of the car, then speeds down the street, loses control of the car and flys off the embankment by where we park (street is 10+ft above the parking lot) and then lands on top of Jacks Mustang....Car is supercharged with a Vortech blower, exhaust, you name it the car has it, was putting down about 483HP the last time it dynoed...sad to see it this way :(

Guy has no insurrance and Jack doesnt have underinsured motorist coverage, basically the guy is sitting in jail for DUI among numerous other charges and Jack had the car towed to his house :wow:

However, to look at the bright side, at least his engine and shit is still intact and can be swapped out.

yea that was the good thing J, he should be able to pull the motor, he is looking for a transplant car, going to be hard to find in the condition that the car was in before the accident though....

Also, the guy did hit the 05, got the door, rear window panel, sideskirt and rear quarter panel pretty well....Guy wasnt wearing a seatbelt, put his head through the window and ended up in the passenger seat....

Guy has no money, so not sure what suing the poor bastard will do....

Jack was in disbelief....He went outside, saw his car and just walked away....the guy was so drunk they had to drag him out of the car, he was still putting his foot on the gas pedal while it was on top of the stang......

OMG that is so Messed up. I am not sure what I would do in a situation like that. I dont think the guy would be setting there trying to edge on a fight though. I would say more along the lines of fighting for his breath through riddled numerous bullet holes in his chest. I am glad that nobody got hurt. I hope he gets all his moneys wworth outta that piece of shit who hit him. Man that stinks.....................

wow. I cant believe Jack handled that like he did. If that was my car going onto the flat bed the drunk guy would have left that parking lot in a body bag. And my mustang isn't anywhere near as nice as Jacks.

updated info: jack is now looking for a 94-95GT to transplant the blown 5.0 engine into etc...if anyone knows of any in the Seattle Area please let me know so that I can pass the info onto Jack so that he can get himself back into a mustang :)
