View Full Version : What happened to the special tourneys?

There were a couple of tournaments based on the color of your stang and I thought this was going to happen regularly. The last one I see a sign up for was the Candy Stripe Tourney in Dec, 2005. I thought these were a great idea and I think should be continued. If assistance is needed to organize these specialized tourneys I would be glad to lend a hand.
I had some ideas for catagories:
A generation vs generation (79-93 vs 94-95)
A power adder vs power adder (nitrous vs supercharger/turbo)
A classification (lightly modified only)
A vert vs hard top
An engine displacement (5.0 vs 4.6)
These are just a few I was thinking of.

I like these ideas, and remember reading about some of these that would happen. I personally would like to see classification tourneys, and color tourneys. If I can help out in any way, just pm me and hopefully we can work something out!

UFOs will be back, starting tomorrow. VenumGurl is now in charge of the UFOs, so start making your suggestions on who you want to see go one on one.

do the tourneys even run on a schedule? one tourney ends and another begins within a week and then that one ends and several weeks go by before another one starts... might be nice if these things were on some sort of schedule or rotation...

It took a little while for this one in progress to fill up, they usually fill up in a couple of hours.

I was doing the special color tourneys. I asked J about them, if we can do them again. I have some all ready, just waiting for an okay because I am ready to do another one.

I think it is also time for another big 128 tourney. That would be great.

What ever happened with the Special Tourneys? Lets get these going again the New people would love them!!!! Christine see if J will let you get them going again.
