ALL MUSTANG FAMILY PICNIC
Saturday, June 24th, 2006
Fort Worden State Park
Port Townsend, WA
The All Mustang Family Picnic is just that, a picnic.
It is not an event. There will be no admission charged. There will be no trophies. There will be no host.
It will, hopefully, be a gathering of Mustang enthusiasts in an informal setting to get together and have fun. Bring you car, bring your kids, bring your food and drink and lawn chairs…even the ball glove and Frisbee.
For those of you not familiar with Fort Worden, it is a WW1 – vintage fort that defended Puget Sound from naval invasions that never came. It has a numerous artillery emplacements for the “kids” to crawl over and many trails to hike on. Port Townsend itself has lots of shops and tourist traps to explore.
Mustangs West will leave Olympia about 8:00AM at the Hawks Prairie McDonald’s (Exit 111 off I-5, Southbound take left onto Marvin Road, McD’s is about 2 blocks on the right hand side located in the Safeway parking lot), to caravan North along scenic Hood Canal. Other Mustang enthusiasts might want to join us at the West end of Hood Canal Bridge, and we can all caravan into and through Port Townsend. Sound like fun???
