Pardon if I have posted in the wrong forum. I firgured this forum would have the most "Racers" in it.
I have an '89 vert. (Automatic) that I will be hauling in an enclosed trailer a 1000 miles to Ohio.
My question is: ..........Should I keep it In Park or In Neutral ??? when towing ???
I am wandering if it will mess up any syncros or something in the trans. if left in park.
I will have it strapped down with 8 strapps.
Thanks for the input.

Either should be fine, I trailer cars all the time in my enclosed and I never put them in park.(That way I don't have to climb in the car and put it in neutral to unload it.BTW, I have a winch in my trailer so I don't drive them in or out, all vehicles are winched in.)
Using 8 straps is a good idea, I use four regular car straps and then four smaller ones as safety straps. Drive about 20 miles or so and then stop and check your straps and check them every time you stop. Also, make sure all loose items are secured in the trailer.

If it's in an enclosed trailer just strap it down good, the set the e-brake and put the car in neutral. with 8 straps and the e-brake that thing isn't going anywhere

Take a close look at my rear bumper and you will see what not checking your straps will do. Mine got loose and rubbed the shit outta my back bumper. I had it in neutral E-braked and 4 big straps on it. Just my 02 cents
