There is no address it's in Ferndale on 9 mile about 1/2 a block east of Woodward avenue. Last year I was parked directly in front of the Ferndale Police station.

Maybe 8 mile is, but we do the MI U turn right after 9 mile)...

far. I wanted to take a second to thank you for registering and let you
know of some new developments for Mustang Alley...

1) Thanks to one of our sponsors, Modified Mustangs Magazine, we will
have trophies to award for many classes of Mustang. The details and
classes of this award are posted on the website under 'Mustang Alley
Awards' (a drop down found under the About Mustang Alley tab)...

Oh man, we'll be there like every day!!! That mall, I think, is where we went in 03 when we got there. We were SOOO hot from being stuck on the blue water bridge for like two hours in the sun we went to the hotel and decided to get swim suits-got directions from one of the local ymrs and off we went. I got mine, then went to get his-and BAM. No lights. Everybody got hussled out of the store and I never did get him trunks (he did go swimming though-in his jeans!). So, we had to find our way back to the hotel (off Rochester), our first time ever in MI, with no traffic lights! Ah yes, fond memories of the great blackout!!

I'll PM you our number. Last year we didn't leave in time to get to the show before it filled up so we're going to *try* to get there a bit earlier. We always hit some major traffic thing on our way in-last year we jumped off the thruway (can't recall the #) and ended up around 10 mile-headed up to Woodward and came in that way due a to a major accident that had the whole thing closed down almost. We'll be at the Holiday Inn off Rochester, so we're pretty close by.

The YMR has a few things we'll be doing, like Dean Sellers and a dinner thing on Thrusday, but since they had the bid 5 year deal in MB it seems like a lot less planned out this year. I want to check out Edsel & Eleanor Ford's place this year since we went to Fair Lane last year (plus I gotta scope it out for when we get Eleanor done-how cool to have a pic of our Ford, Eleanor at Eleanor Ford's house??)...any other cool spots to check out? We've been to Belle Isle, the Model T factory, The Henry Ford (didn't go in though, didn't want to leave my car all unattended-it's really not a DD and I cringe when I have to leave it in the hotel parking lot-much less a completely public one, lol)....

-woodward is awesome
-met up with jim and cruised with 3 cobra's, one being cobra spence, plus J
-last night also cruised with all those guys plus some locals with awesome roush and saleens; we had like 8 of us at one point; the sound was incredible to say the least
-my stang obviously made it here; It ran a little hot; but I just need to fix a little antifreeze issue (it was contaminated by a rusty low coolant tube)
-I got some pics so far and a vid; I'll post later on

definately worth the drive!!!! I can't explain how cool this cruise is!

I've got to make sure everyone knows that half the credit goes to my wife - she took all the driving pictures of the cruise. (Which are always the coolest and hardest to get pictures of your ride) She also didn't kill me when I bought a new telephoto lense for the camera. :)

We had a great time as usual - good to see you again Wldponi03! There is just too much happening in too short of a time period to get it all in. I think that next year we should plan a Friday night GTG with all the GS's that can come out. Had a great time cruisin with 90LX (Jim), J, Nic, and the other Detroit guys Roush_Steve and so on.

I actually didn't take a pic of mine on mustang alley...I do have a pic from Flat Rock posted somewhere in this thread. We didn't spend much time parked-we went out for a cruise and ended up on Woodward most of the day! I don't know that anyone I know took a pic of mine on the alley-I saw peeps I didn't know snap a few, but it seemed that no one in the YMR was going pic happy this time. If anyone here got a pic (we were in the lot with wild horses-I think that's the name of the club-and the YMR, behind the YMR tents next to the trailer that held up entrance for like a half hour while they moved it to a side street....
