Well, to be honest, I think those 1st 2 judges are just tired of bluedemon challenging people to best exterior. I think they tend to judge it unfairly as a result.

Don't think for a second I'm dissing your car - just being honest.

I think "some" of the judges need glasses... but I guess its all a matter of personal taste.
No offence to you BLUE70 you have a very nice ride, but even you said the odds were stacked against you... which all goes back to what I was talking about before in regards to doing unfair face offs and by unfair I mean such unevenly matched up cars.

I have going through judges comments and find them disturbing as well. Blue has a great car, and I told him already how much I like that blue70's paint job, but BlueDemon's CUSTOM paint job is absolutely incredible. With that paint job, he should not be challenging anyone less than what he has. That should have been mentioned by at least one of the judges. Other areas have been the same.

Yes, but keep in mind that in a REAL judged car show if they both showed up and there is a BEST paint or EXTERIOR trophy to give to one of them. There is no way blue70 is going to win it.

This means the 2 other judges were smoking crack or making a point, and I'm not sure if that's fair.

After reading the judges comments it sounds like Judge number 3 touches on that matter a little. Just my opinion, but it comes down to why there are three judges and Blue70 won. So not taking away from his win. Congrats!!!

I completely disagree Scott, I just looked at both and best exterior is really left up to interpretation. I would have chosen blue70 as well, I like the looks, and I know bluedemon has a lot of flash, but he also has some components that turn people off, don’t discredit blue70 for doing an exceptional job:beerchug:

I think coopdog is right, it comes down to personal taste..

No offence to anyone, but the more you paint it and the more parts you throw at it does not mean it's better looking.. I think a car can be overdone. (not saying BD's car is, but there are a few things I would change) but that's what makes this hobby great, you can build 100 Mustangs and not one will be alike..
Even if you don't like the style you can respect the time, money, and love that person has put into the car.

I am sorry, but if I was at a car show I would walk right past BD's car.... It's just not my style, I like the "understated agression" that I have going with my car (I just coined that term, so it's mine :lol: ) It's not the direction I planned on going with, but I got some great deals on the hood, spoiler, and wheels.. So I guess fate designed my ride :naughty:

I do agree with some of you that I did feel like someone was trying to pick a sure win, a extremely modded car challenging a mild mod like mine.

Jusy a thought, but maybe people should have the option to accept or decline a challenge before it is made public :hmmm:

I honestly feel the judges are pissed at demon challenging SO many to exterior. It's part of human nature that can not be overlooked.

And that is why the votes went the other way as well. I stayed out of that vote because I knew it had a chance to go the wrong way and I've had a few wins and didn't want it to end - lol.
