I am looking into painting my stang or doing something different thinking about just changing the colors to the one in this picture but painting it in the same way I already have it. What do you guys think?

What I really liked is that the flames stand out alot and in mine they don't. I don't want to change the red burgandy I have because all my interior is the same color.

i dont really like the silver and maroon combo. dosent seem to flow at all. i would go with a color in the silver position. even beter the base color in the maroon and flames in some other color?
I think silver on top of the maroon... would be awesome... and cheaper.

I think your car looks good the way it is. Just don't try to ghost purple on top of silver, if the silver has a red base it won't work!

I think your car is awesome the way it is, too!
Maybe you could airbrush an outline that would give a more graphic edge to the flames?
The colors on the Harley are also awesome and if you went that way, I am sure you would be thrilled!

The car has a dark appearance, but it absolutely beautiful. What about flames that start out silver and fade to burgandy, or vice versa.

I say go wiht the pain job you have now, but add silver flame shadows to the existing maroon flames to give it depth. Plus the silver will brighten the car up a little an really make it pop visually.

...it's really what you want to accomplish more...
the scheme you have is bold in design, but because the black and red a both dark, it also allow it to be there...but not there TOO much. I personnally like that affect very much, I usually dislike flames in general..but LOVE your stang's paint job.
HOWEVER, if you want more pop, more boldness, more statement etc, then i do recommend the silver with red flames as you are considering it now. Silver base is nice choice, Silver tends to add sophisication (spelling?) to Stang but allow a more bolder statement.
so; you can see that it's what you envision your stang's style to be.
in the end, either choice is very good.

I also aggree with this too...this will come down to the slill of the actual final product whether this woudl be better than the previous two options.

I love the Silver with Red flames, but if that's too expensive then I would go with what 05Classic suggested :beerchug:
