I heard that I could put a 5.4L Triton V8 out of a Ford Truck in my stang. What other accessories will I need to put in my 2002 Mustang GT for it to work? What years does this motor come in? Thanks.

I would imagine youd need computer, wiring harness' and all the other electronic goodies that go with the motor. Might need a tranny to, or maybe just a special bellhousing to match it up to the tranny of your choice.
As for the years, I'm pretty sure they were introduced in '97. They came in the Expeditions, F-150s, and probably a few of the SuperDuties.
Tribalstang has done it. Not sure if he has much info on his website, but if you needed to you could message him. http://gotstang.com/profile.php?Tribalstang#jump

you have to cut your hood up with the 5.4 swap. I'd recommend a 4v 4.6 swap over the 5.4 swap since it bolts in, and all you have to do is extend your COP wires and get a re-tune for it to run properly

All you really need for the swap is a 5.4L LongBlock, and adapter plates for the intake. Everything else will come off of your 4.6 motor. Trannys bolt right up-(T-45 does for sure!) A computer tune is a plus. I would stick with a Cobra swap unless you are building a 5.4 from the ground up. Tourqe is the only improvement from a stock 5.4 SOHC
