A Merlot is very good with a very hearty dinner. A dinner with a very nice red based meat, steak, venison, etc, is a compliment to the wine. It is a somewhat dry fruity wine

Whine? Do you mean Wine.
Definition:
Whine - to utter a high-pitched plaintive or distressed cry/ to make a sound similar to such a cry
Wine - the usually fermented juice of a plant product (as a fruit) used as a beverage
Just adding my 2 cents... lol.
Wine actually sucks.
