My heater hose poped on me on monday and had to get towed home. After getting all new hoses and adding in new coolent I let the car run to get the water to move. well the car still got hot and the rad was about half way down so I added in water. no good the car still ran hot. I have no leaks and I don't have water in the oil (checked). I was think thermostat but not sure. I'm sure someone has had this problem before could you please help.

On the 32V motors, you have to fill it by the crossover fill plug,( near the alternator)
and not by the overflow/reservoir or you will get an air pocket.
It takes a 1/4" drive socket.
Safest to do it cold.

Yeah, thanks. I replaced my thermostat yesterday and it was shot. The guy that had the car before me kept the 195 degree one in there, so I went with to an 180. I also changed the thermostat housing because the old one had a ton of rtv on it so that it wouldn't leak. Now the car runs like it should. Thanks.
