Custom Exhaust

I was wondering if anyone has made a custom exhaust, instead of using h-pipes or x-pipes. I was just gonna make pipes with cats run out the short pipes, then through a muffler exiting the sides.

i did. just this weekend as a matter of fact... we tried it two ways... using mandrel bent pipe and then we replaced that with a welded kit... check out my GS website for pictures of it...

i've done that before on a 99GT...didnt get as much hp and tq as with the h-pipe i switched to later

Nice car i must say, but i believe it is different to go from forced induction and N/A. The pressure system is different if I understand correctly. In Turbo it really doesn't matter about the pressure, but n N/A it does, hence i believe they have x pipes and h-pipes. Do you know if anyone sells mufflers with the inlet and outlet on the same side?
