I know that this is mustang forum but I need some opinions about what to do with my truck. Ok, here's the options, I either want to put a 3/4 inch drop kit on it with some 20's, Lightning bumper cover, etc. OR put about a 4 inch lift kit with 33 inch tires and go for the pre runner-race truck look. For those of you that don't know what i mean by pre-runner, I attached a couple of pics below along with the look I would want if I lowered it.....any opinions would be greatly appreciated! :beerchug:

sell it and buy a stang :)
trust me, i would if i could.....but sadly, bagging groceries won't support my mustang addiction (gas and insurance). :ugh2: but after i graduate in a couple of months i might already have a full time job lined up, so maybe i can finally join the mustang family

Dude guys who drop trucks are pussy's. Take that beast to the sky. If ya have any questions just look at my page 7 on my profile but I will warn ya my lil weekend trip to the desert just cost me about 450.00. Lifting is nice and chicks dig it but keep in mind fuel mileage sucks, shit wears out so much quicker, anywhere between 1500.00 and 2200.00 for some good to bad ass tires that last 20,000 miles at best. Oh and just in case your wondering why my trip cost me so much............. I busted both lower ball joint damn near in half. Yes thats left and right but I am into serious wheeling and bashing and my truck is a huge bitch. Any ways just my 2 cents. Just dont drop it!!!!!!!!

lift it....then find the guy who dropped the black F150 in the shots and shoot him....how the hell can you do that much work to a truck...and have that UGLY ass stock exhaust pipe sticking out the side...someone go smack that guy

guess no one's with me, i'ma assume it's 2wd...if i'm rite, drop it!
lifting a 2wd is pointless unless you're gonne make it a true pre-runner(long travel/flexy suspension)
plus a lowered truck is much more economical than a lifted one, less shit breaks, no effect on gas mileage...but it depends on if u want the look or the look and function...
and my guess is baggin groceries ain't gonna pay for the lifted/off-road look's mileage n breakin stuff...

and btw, i don't have a problem with lowered trucks as long as they aren't sitting on the ground....i like the aggressive look of a 3/4 inch drop

Well I have a 98 F150 thats dropped 3/4 and I think it looks great . I have also lifted several 2wd Ford for customers . Some of them were the "pre runner look" and they look good too . To each their own .............

And for the comment "sell it and buy a mustang" . There's a few F150's running around that will wax most stangs on the street . It really depends on how serious a person is in building up their ride .

Slam it. There is no point in lifting a 2WD truck. That's like lifting an elcamino.

once again I apologize I thought you had a 4X4. I dont see must dismay in lowering a 2X truck as long as it is done properly. either way man i bet you will make the best out of it. It is your truck make it shine!!!!!!
