i heard that texas dropped the law on front plates.. is this true? anyone got any info.. i cant find any info on it on http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/.. cant find it

I know in VA, the new laws don't take effect until July 1. You might have to wait before any laws are updated on the internet.

so Va did drop the front tag law? I havent ran one on the front of my stang for about a year not but I am in Cali.

I dont run a front plate anyway....basically if the factory did not drill the holes in the bumper then you are not required to have one......My body guy didnt drill holes, so I dont use one :rofl:

I wish NJ would drop that stupid law, its so pointless, when you get pulled over cops are behind you, not infront of you.

glad Kentucky dont have that law but i have to agree with bluestang, "if the factory did not drill the holes in the bumper then you are not required to have one"

I haven't had a front plate in Texas since I got my Cobra R bumper on which has been over a year, Never been pulled over or anything. I just zip-tie it on when it comes to inspection time but I don't even think I needed it, they didn't care.
