I was wondering what springs you guys have and what you like best. I am getting some rims here asap. And i want to lower my baby. was wondering what kinda drop to go with. My friend has a Eibach's street kit that drops it 1.5 inch. I love the way it looks. I do not want to scrape everywhere i go i just want to give it a mean look.

I have dropzone on mine and its a 2" drop. Its was kind of low so I drove it for a couple weeks then I took my car in and had them all compressed another 1/2 inch so now it looks better to me, plus no change in the ride. So now its 2.5 inchs total. Just make sure that you get some Tokicos for your car makes a big difference in the ride.
Eibach sportline > * If you want performance go for the steedas.

no eibachs or steedas or dropzones...steedas are made by eibach, eibach is a good company but...get H&R Super Sport springs

Coilovers, continously adjustable ride height for me. You can use softer springs to give a more compliant ride. I've used Saleen Racecraft progressive rate springs with good results.

What do coilovers run though.. they are like 1000 bucks for a good setup arent they?
ANd you can disable the Gotstang watermark in your sig bro...

h&r is like the best in the industry, and if you are gonna drop 1.5 inches or more u might want to invest in some cc plates so u can get a perfect alingment. also a set of blestein shocks and struts will be great with that set up.

Tokicos make struts and shocks for your car. I just found this kit that comes with everything you need all from Tokico. This is probably the best way to go since the shocks alone arent much less than the price for both. You had said in your first post that you didn't want to scrape so I wouldn't go lower than 1.5 inches. I would go with the first kit unless you feel like adjusting the shocks and paying about 200.00 more.

No way guys. You don't have to buy tubular control arms and K-member to go with coil overs. $250 for a front setup, for the rears just get some regular old lowering springs. I still run the Saleen Racecrafts out back with coilovers up front.

Well, and you'll need to invest in some CC plates, add another $200 or so. Okay, so it's expensive.
Think of long term though. I've got a tubular K-member, control arms, coil overs, and cc plates, that's every bit of a 75lb weight loss up front, now take the aluminum heads for 50lbs more. That's a significant weight reduction up front, where it really counts.
You gotta have a master plan, and work the plan, even if it means spending a little more up front. (I don't practice what I'm preaching)

It's cheaper than that, good lowering springs are in the 200-250 range, then 50 for an alignment. This one is plenty easy enbough to do yourself with some jackstands and a floorjack.

Still. I haven't been able to bring myself to buy high dollar stuff, not with itty bitty brakes (look at sig).
The CC plates restore near stock travel to your struts my moving the mounting point up from the fender.
