If the price is right and you like it then it sounds like a no brainer to me

I had a 1978 Forumla Firebird with a chevy 350 & four speed. It was an freakin' fun car to drive. It had plenty of power and it got up and went. I had a blast with the car, solid motor, it did like to eat the cheaper clutches after a several months and the interior - specifically the seat were shit. But on a fun scale it was an 7 or 8.
I would have another 78 in a heartbeat. After 1979 the engines dropped to the 305 including the transam when the shaker hoods went away the turbo became the new craze. I would not recommend an 80 or above firebird.
