Alright, So while I was away for a few days my brother decides to debadge my car. He took the 5.0 emblems on the side off and the LX on the back of the trunk. Well, since these emblems were on when it was painted it is the original paint back behind where the emblem was. I also noticed that the paint missing was much larger than the emblems themselves were and I guess when he was trying to get the glue off he was chipping the paint off with it. So I ask you does anybody have any brilliant ideas? The stock 5.0 emblems are too small and you can still see the paint missing around it and the trunk emblem needs to be about 4 inches long and 1 inch high to cover up the missing paint. Thanks guys.

Yes.. That might work! And the main reason I am stressing about this is because I was planning on selling it and moving up to a new stang so im not just gonna throw a sticker over the spot and call it a day..

Was it repainted the same factory black ?

Why the hell didnt they take the badges off before they painted it? It would take more time to mask them off than it would to take them off!

Yea I don't see why they would leave the badges on but it was a cheapy paint job by the last owner.
