Without these photos, his boss would have NEVER, EVER
believed him ! Would you?
Why Was This Guy Late for Work ??
READ THIS PARAGRAPH BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES.
This will freak you out.
A guy in St. Louis was driving to work on Hwy I-44 when he heard a 'pop'.
He thought it sounded like a flat tire, though his ride wasn't affected.
After pulling over,
checking the tires and finding them intact he opened the hood to look at the motor.
Before the hood was even all the way open he jumped back in shock
and knocked his head on the partially opened hood,
unable to believe what his eyes were seeing!
Nobody was going to believe this! You sure wouldn't have either!
Fortunately, a coworker with a camera recognized him along side the road
and stopped to see if he could help.
Check out the pictures to witness for yourself the source of his amazement. Now, this has to be right up there at the top of the list of unusual but verified
'Reasons I was late for work.
And I worry about cats under my hood in cold weather

I love snakes and have had them in the past. That is no common snake. That is proof that humans should not own snakes. Boa's and Pythons get to be REAL BIG and REAL AGGRESIVE. They will seem to be as docile as can be and then WHACK, they got ya. When my first kid was born I got rid of the 8 different types/of boas i had. My largest was about 15 ft and as big around as a 2 liter pop bottle. Humans must be very carefull when owning these snakes. One of mines name was Houdinni for the simple fact that she would get loose and run through the house. I am willing to be that this sanke was someones pet that they let go or let get out of its cage. I feel bad for the poor snake. I bet it was just trying to get warm. :ranting: :cussing:

Wow! I feel absolutely bad for the snake... Those are beautiful animals that if people appreciated more, even more so when they owned one, they would do whatever they could to prevent them from running such fate.
Definitely a strange (and unfortunate) event... But also somewhat heartbreaking. Like yosemiddysam said, it was probably just trying to get warm.

Poor python :( Makes me miss mine....he passed away a few years ago-he was an adult of undetermined age when I got him yeas before from a pet store that couldnt get him to eat, so he likely just died of old age. Of all the "pet" snakes, that one would been least likely to bite/constrict if found alive-royal (aka "ball") pythons are fairly docile and generally curl into a ball with their head in the middle when they feel threatened.....:(
