If so PLEASE tell me how to get the gas pedal off. i tried to push out the pin but it wouldnt move. Was i not putting enough pressure on it or what? Please help. Thanks, Nick

it's easier to take out the whole assembly. It's just two bolts to remove the whole arm. once it's out you just press out the pin. I used my vice to help get it out but a screwdriver and a hammer will probably do just as well.

you just push the little retainer forward out of the arm, then it just slips out of the top.

I'll have to get my dad to tell me. while started working on the other pedals he took it to our shop and changed out the pedal. didn't take him 4min to do the swap.

as for taking it out of the car, it's simple.

take out the two bolts holding the pedal arm to the firewall. then using a pair of pliers just compress the back side of the little black ring snap holding the cable in the arm. then you should just be able to push it out toward the front of the arm and it will fall free. the top of the arm has a slot in it so that you can just pull it straight up out of the top of the arm. if you need extra slack to do this just unhook the cable from the throttle body and you should get another 6in of line to play with.

I don't know, like I said my dad ran off with it while I fought the rest of the stock pedals off. didn't take him long to replace it though. about the same amount of time it took me to take out the brake, clutch, and dead pedals.
