I'm looking at purchasing a Kenny Brown strut tower brace that a guy had on a 99 Cobra and need to know if it will fit my 2000 GT convt. I think it will but want to be 100%. Does anyone know? Thanks for the help!

im pretty sure it will...if anything the cobra brace will have more clearance b/c of the Cobra DOHC and larger plenum!! but be careful if you have an aftermarket intake as i had clearance problems with my KB brace vs. a JLT CAI :thumpupn:

I'll to check about the CAI since I have a BBK installed. Thanks.

Yup, Maximum Motorsports bar touchs my K&N FIPK, got worse when I installed the Trick Flow upper so I took the brace off.

Mine worked with my BBK inlet, on my cobra. It's off the car now though.
Is this the one that piggy backs the Strut tower nuts and bolts, or is yours the one that you drill onto the sides of the shock tower????????????

Is there any difference between the Cobra brace and the standard GT brace.. or is there any difference?

I have a Steeda STB that I just bought and it clears my BBK CAI, TB and C&L plenum just fine
The Steeda one is the same as you describe, two bols down and one on top
