yah I made this in an attempt to bring people together rather than further seperaate appearance into their respective engine areas as well...
this way all appearance goes here, and only engine mods go into the engine sections... i think it will help in organization greatly!

I reference to your system question, are you looking into fiberglass or just a wood box?

I have a custom sealed down firing enclosure.
in a mustang... good lord it rattled my whole trunklid... a sealed box in a sealed trunk
what i want to do is cut two holes where my top folds down into and mount 2 speaker grilles... you'd be able to look into my trunk from the inside of my car. this way, it allows air to move freely in and out the trunk... thus, more bass... less resonance

I'm taking it you have a vert?
You can just take out the liner piece. It's just held in by the trunk liner pieces. I know because my speedster cover instructions showed how to.

the top has to have somethign to fold into i believe... if i take out that whole structure... it may compromise the hold...

No, you just have to be careful about putting stuff in the trunk that would get under the top or crack! $300+ install.
