TR 3650 issues

I'm just wondering if anyone on here is having any problems with there TR3650 tranny. I've heard a few people over on Modular Depot is having an issue with there's, that's why I wanted to check it out on GS too! I am having problems with mine :cussing:. Everyone keeps telling me that it's a bearing trying to go out. That sucks because I don't even have 15,000 miles on my car yet! I have talked to about 5 different people that are having problems with there's.

This is what warranties are for :D and yes, 3650's are notorious for problems. A few people locally have swapped on a T-45 in it's place, and another put in a T-56.

Synchro between 1st & 2nd went out on son's with about 30K. Had a problem finding the part (as tranny had been made in Mexico) but once it was obtained and rebuilt, it performed better than new! Of course we had to swap to a T-56 when we did the 5.4 DOHC Lincoln with the Vortech V-2/SQ & all the other goodies!
