I'm not a big GM guy, but I have to say this thing is at least visually stunning.

the new camaro is a sad attempt at best.

I really hope they dont ruin the camaro name by building this travesty.

I thought it was just me-I laughed when I saw it. I don't know what, but something about the silver concept car makes me laugh. Too pointy and squished in the nose IMO.

That thing looks sweetI have watched it for the past year or so as more pictures have come out. Lets face it. It is diffrent with more lines but it will grow on most of us and out run 90% of us. Sad but true.

That is freakin' hot!!!. A definite 05 Mustang stolen idea. The side view is a dead ringer the the late 60's model Camaro. Yeah, I would make the purchase. Whew!

At least it has HP, IMO it looks like a charger with a meaner front end. GM has to go to Australia for their styling cues, WTF? Don't they have anyone over here to design anything? A couple of years ago there was a student that came up with a kick a$$ design for the camaro when GM stopped production. GM should have hired him, but no they gotta look across the water to get ideas. I'm sorry, I think it's ugly same with the GTO, and the Charger from Chrysler. If I wanted a sedate looking vehicle with HP I'd go to Europe, I live in the USA and I want a high HP car with the looks that say get the @#$% out of my way.

At least the fog lights were designed correctly. lol Yes fog lights are not supposed to be the same size as the headlights.

Having previously owned a 1969 Rally Sport Camaro that was f*ing amazing I have really mixed feelings about this car. Prior to buying my Stang I was looking at WS6 trans ams and the SS camaro's because I was a GM guy...then I drove my friends 2001 GT and I was hooked. However, I do love the classic lines of the 69 camaro and I think that this is a sad attempt to recreate that. If you're going to go retro at least stick with what worked before don't throw 21" and 22" rims on it. It looks like a damn off road vehicle. I think this car has potential and hope that they don't screw it up as dodge did with the Charger. Now the Challenger on the other had, I think they did that right and don't need to change it whatsoever for production.

Hmmm, I'm loving t hese times. Just as I'm beginning to get all nostalgic cuz I didn't think I'd ever feel the exhileration I'd get from my dad's 74 Duster 340HP back when I was a little kid... Ford, GM, and Chrysler decide to make us all happy again.

I welcome the new Camaro...and I'm extremely anxious for the Challenger (Duster, for those who don't know, is the Plymouth version of the Dodge Challenger).

Put global warming, the war in iraq, and the stock market aside and we're living in great times all because of the automotive industry. I guess that's what REALLY makes us American. :)

Challenger concept rocks, but give Daimler a chance and they will figure out a way to ruin it (maybe make it a four door wagon?).
The Camaro looks good from the side profile, but that's all I like.
If they use the already produced drivetrain fron either the Vette or the SSR, it will rock performance wise!
Sorry, I still refuse to grow a mullet! I am sticking with my Mustangs!

Now Eddie why'd you have to go and do this. (I hope it was being smart ass)

Global warming, puhhhh. Last Winter in Mass we had some record lows, not only lows but long stretches of lows and I mean like wisconsin cold -15 below and shit. Then the spring here sucked ass cold, and rainy for more than 3/4's, and don't get me started on this summer, record suck for heat. I think I can count on my fingers how many really hot days we had. Then the stock market the DOW has closed above 11,000 for the first time since 9/11 2001, looks like it's going in the right direction. And the war in Iraq, well yeah that sucks for our Men and Women over there, but the are doing a great job given what the politicians are allowing them to do. Then you hit us with the automotive industry, are you kidding, move over Ford and GM cuz here comes Toyota and Honda. GM is looking at possible Bankruptcy and laying off thousands, their doing great. This is what America is all about. God I need to start learning how to speak Japenese. Maybe HMONG could help me out.

AHHHHH it's good to have you back Eddie. I'm glad I'm back to.

Smooth out that ugly ass pointy quarter panel, get rid of that stupid looking front end, and that camaro may just look pretty good!

the headlights are ugly the tailights are ugly. The thing has potential but GM is off by a mile on all there styling these days GTO being the main example. Hopefully they will change that front end before it goes into production cause that thing has got way to much going on. They need to tone it down a little. The challenger concept looks awesome just like an old muscle car.
