Right now I know I have a open slip differential, but what the spline and the size is i have no idea and it doesnt say in the manual. Also I need to know which ford racing limited slip dif. fits my 2005 v6... http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=221
can anyone give me the wisdom on this so I can buy the correct parts to lose the habit of being a "one wheeled wonder" at burnouts....?? :looney: :looney: :looney:

If you ever put power to that car. like some seroous stuff. They made axles from moser for that 28 spline. for the v6. just thought i would let ya know.

they are just a way harder axle. and can hold 40 percent stronger then the stockers.

Well the differential came in today, while the car is in the shop at modular madness. Will install it once the procharger kit is done with a local shop. pics of the parts will be on my GS and CD pages

i hope you dont mean your putting a procharger on that v6. That 7.5 axle will not hold up to it. trust me i know. I have someone wiht a v6. 2002. porcharged. it made 370rwhp and 380 rwtg and his is auto. and the well posi for the 7.5 didnt hold up. it poped the spider gears 3 times. now he has a 8.8in that bitch with a novi blower going on it this spring lol. heheh. just warning you. dont be pissed when that 7.5 axle shits on you.

realistically though I am not running that kind of power, tops it will be 320rwhp at the 9psi setting (Which is ONLY for shows and if i get a chance to do a day at the strip or track) i will be running 5psi the majority of the time which will be alot more than I have now but less than 300rwhp for DAILY driving. my rear end isn't gonna die out on me that quick. I know that for sure.
