well hopefully is everything goes well, ill get it around the end of january.

it is a white 1996 cobrafor $4000. the lady i am buyin it from just ordered an 06 mustang gt, black on black. so when that one arrives, i should b able to pick up the car then.

she has taken car of it, and her and her boyfriend have done most of the work on it. it had a few little things wrong w/ it, but they fixed it and nothin is wrong now. the only thing is the check engine light is on, but she has had her ecu scanned hundreds of times and nothin comes outta it. so, im not to worried bout that.

i test drove it earlier today, and man is it nice. a very nice/loud rumble at idle. a 350z pulled next to me when i was in 3rd gear, and i pulled on him til i let up......its not my car yet, and she was in there w/ me, lol.

is this a good investment???

i dont think i mentioned it on here, but my car got stolen earlier this month.

Sounds like a good deal but I would be worried about that check engine light.

I agree, lets see some pics! $4000 for a Cobra isn't bad at all. Is the light on maybe due to the exhaust (bad 02 sensor)?

$6k for a 96 Cobra sounds like a good deal, I bought the 97 for my wife for $9500. I also had the check engine light on it, code said it was O2. I found out after replacing the sensor the mil eliminator was bad.

Jim (Spike) has a friend with a '96 Cobra that he clears the codes on every six months or so. Can't find anything wrong, it just turns the check engine light on once in a while.
Good luck and let's see some pics! :thumpupn:
