Starting Jan 1,2005, all cell phone numbers will be made public to telemarketing firms. So this means as of Jan 1,2005 your cell phone may start ringing with telemarketers, but unlike your home phone, you could pay for your incoming calls. These telemarketers might eat up your free minutes and end up costing you money in the long run contingent upon your plan.

According to the National Do Not Call List, you have until Dec.15,2004 to get on the national "Do Not Call list" for cell phones.

You need to call 1-888-382-1222 from the cell phone that you wish to have put on the "Do Not Call List" to be put on this list. You can also do it online at www.donotcall.gov.

Just so everyone knows. Do Not Call list do not apply to non profit organizations or the companies they employ to call you. They use these do not call list to gather numbers... of people to call.. just so ya know :D.

my buddie works for a telemarketing place in Indiana, he has told me alot of stuff that they do. the company motto when you walk in is "Turning Charity into Profitt" so that kind of shit dosen't set to well with me.

Lets just say it looks fancy and confusing but is pronounced very simple, so when people are guessing how to say it, they will get it right maybe once out of 20 times...

That part is nice, but when they mess up your name on public records and drivers license and other important stuff, its not so nice...
