Ok, here's the deal, I've decided that i'm going to attempt to make a one off Eleanor hood myself by buying a hood and an Eleanor scoop and fiberglassing it on. However, I'm stuck with trying to decide what hood to use at the base. I'm half way thinking that it would be easiest to use a cobra rr hood the one that looks similar to a cowl hood and I was wondering if you could do a photochop of that hood and put the scoop on top so that I could get some idea as to whether or not that would be a decent look because I've had a very hard time finding anyone to build me a custom hood. Thank you I'd greatly appreciate it.

go to mustangdepot.com, they sell eleanor hoods for 1965-1968, you could buy that and cut the scope out and fit it onto a newer hood. just my .02

Yeah I guess that's pretty close, and I'm not thinking that that is going to be my best choice of hood. I think I'm going to have to use the 99 cobra/ 03-04 v6 hood and bolt on the scoop and fiberglass it. I just don't know what other hoods are somewhat flat that I could use as the base hood.

the 03 V6 hood would probably be your best bet for putting that scoop on because you could cover up the fake intake....
