It was brought to my attention by my sister through my brother in law in Iraq that they are in desperate need of blankets and socks for their Iraqi counterparts that they are training...

Currently the US troops have all of the items that they need since it is provided by the government, but the Iraqi soldiers and police that US troops are training in his unit do not have adequete supplies. Currently it is 29 degrees during the daytime over there and they are wearing sandles and regular summer clothes with no blankets or anything to keep them warm. I have been asked by the special ops officers in my brothers unit to ask if ANYONE has a company that they work for or could ask around for ANY company that would be willing to help out by supplying them with blankets and socks (all that they have asked for at this time)....It could be written off for Tax purposes if needed and would greatly help out the mission in Iraq as well as the American Troops that are training these men....

Anything will help but currently they are trying to supply 450 Iraqi personel with socks and blankets...Again, these will not go to the American soldiers as they have everything needed provided by our government, but the Iraqi government is unable to supply their troops and a difference in Religion creates a barrier in the willingness to help the troops currently training...THIS WOULD GREATLY HELP US TROOPS IN HIS UNIT to continue their mission of training Iraqi troops...

Looking for a company, individuals, anyone who is willing to sponsor his unit by donating blankets and socks to the Iraqi Troops....

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE A COMPANY THAT YOU MAY WORK FOR, PERSONAL FRIENDS, FAMILY, ETC THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO HELP OUT...

Thank You,
Kyle
