heavy metal music lost one of the greats, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, when a crazed fan jumped on stage during performance of Dime's new band, Damageplan, and shot him.. :(

God, already a year. Watching Headbanger's Ball to Dimebag, one of the most badass guitar players ever. He died before i got to see Damageplan in ATL. I was so upset when dad woke me up to turn on the news. We did have one of his signature guitars in our music store along with angus young's, eric clapton signed, and of course zakk wylde. This came in the mail, www.guitarhero.net (http://www.guitarhero.net) hand crafted figures & one of Dimebag thrashin away standing on his razor :nutkick: :devil: :devil:

I remember how devastated I was when I first heard the news of his death. He was an awesome man.
