how about the Lorena Bobbit story....

she claimed she cut her husbands dick off because of spousal abuse and was found not guilty of any wrongdoing because of the spousal abuse she claimed her husband had committed against her...

when her husband was tried for committing spousal abuse, he was found not guilty and all charges were dropped......so technically nothing happened according to the judge and the jury, tell that to Mr Bobbit though who showed up to court with his dick in his hand :rofl:
