Who and where was that skip?

There is a guy at a drag strip around here who does that, I think he has a falcon. He bent the plate on the back when he did it!!

there used to be a guy at the local drag strip with a 92 coupe with a 383 small block CHEVY motor( :gay: ) that decided to take his wheelie bars off one night, he ended up standing it on the rear bumper and he came down so hard that he busted the oil pan. i thought it was hilarious

Years ago, Jim (Spike) ran a Super Gas (10.90 index) '89 GT.
We took the car to Somoma to compete in the Socal Super Gas assoc. event they had there. Although the car had never lifted the front tires more than a couple of inches, the track at Sonoma decided to teach us a lesson in precaution (we had no wheelie bars).
During qualifying, the car came off the trans brake hard enough to stand on the rear bumper!
When the car came down it literally broke the trans off of the engine!
Needless to say, we were done for the weekend after driving 400 miles!
Ahhh, memories!
