Don't know how many classic rock fans we have here, or How many Skynyrd fans we have, but the Deftones have made a sorry ass attempt at covering Simple Man, my all time favorite Skynyrd song.. .... The music isn't to bad they even do the solo, but Chino butchers the lyrics to hell and back....:ranting:

HMMM I would imagine I am somewhat of an expert on good ole redneck rock and that sucked ass! shinedown didn't do much better. As long as they stay away from wooley swamp we'll be alright though!

i love the skynard tune. it is one of my all time fav songs. i like deftones pretty much also. its just two completely different styles of music. they cant be compaired.
