Right now we are in the early stages of development. I'm getting the domain name setup and learning how to start a website for it. We want to start this up in line with the BMC and YMR. Red Mustangs are just as popular and we want to show that they are. For now we are trying to see how many people would be interested on this site by having everyone add Red Mustang Club to their profile. I'll work on developing the site and keep everyone posted.

I like the decal idea just as long as it isn't too big and gaudy. Something simple, clean, and Red. You could have them in the different shades of red to match the cars even closer. I'll take a laser red one now!lol Have you ever seen the Mustang week logo. It's clean and simple. I'm not saying ya steal there design just use it as a reference when designing the RMC one.

I've seen a pic like that before, so it popped in my head when joey wanted a Stang incorporated into the logo...and I remembered you had what I was looking for in your sig.

for a headlight shot like that one, no one needs to know the original color...ha! I just didn't want to spend hours finding pics (that can be a chore). The programs I use it takes a long time just to put these things together. I use 3 different programs...I'm not lucky enough to have photoshop.

Wow, I don't get on the site for a day and there's all these new ideas. First thing is, very nice job on the logo Nicole, really like the red over black bar and the "R" in red with the "MC" in black. I sent a request to MustangFreak about coming up with a sig everyone can use, and he said he would do it, thanks. I don't have a problem with anyone wanting a certian number assigned to them, if two want the same #, it'll will be 1st come 1st serve. I did set up an email account separate for the club, so if you want a number email it to redmustangclub@cox.net this way I have it some place to refer back to them. Someone wanted 0000, I'm starting with #3. Sorry.

About the name, whatever the majority wants is what we do, I am open to suggestions. If any one wants to display Red Mustang Club or RMC in a font that you think looks good, then feel free to do so. Then we can all take a look and decide what looks the best.

Right now, go into your profile and add Red Mustang Club by choosing it from the list of clubs. I see there is a Red Mustang Club (RMC) also on the list, I take it that this is the same thing justa someone had added it with the RMC. This Way we can keep track of who is interested. There was a request for numbers, and any request can be emailed to redmustangclub@cox.net, this is so I can keep track, give a 1st, 2nd , and 3rd option.

Ok, I was just worried because of the lack of communication between us.

As stated in my PM, I did not know what you currently had as far as info goes, and felt that if you were starting from scratch, odds are you may duplicate what I had already done, and considering how much research this is, its not very neccisary to redo everything when other areas require more attention. Every color clubs site has different fields of interest, and I wanted to know what areas you were working on. In other words, knowing who's doing what would eliminate inefficiency.

Also, I totally understand if ANYONE is a member of the club, as in a way, they are still "red mustang enthusiasts" as clearly they show intrest in the color if they have interest in the club. However, as far as the registry goes, submission still will remain segregated. The vehicle must originally be of some ford red, simply to keep research accurate.

I am going to agree with trikpony on this one. I have no problem promoting the registry, I think it's a great idea. I apologize for any lack of communication at this point and time, my vacation ended and it's back to work on the midnight shift. I have also had some other things come up and I haven't had time to get on here as much.

I am still working on getting the website up, it is alot of work to try and make it look right and how to make it look decent. Someone had mentioned about Red Mustang Club and Red Mustang Club (RMC) on the list of clubs, I have both listed in my profile. I added the Red Mustang Club, and someone else added the one with (RMC). I saw that everyone listed in each one was on this thread and I take it as the same. You can add one or both to your profile, you will accomplish the same result.

I would like to say to mylittlepony, I apologize for the lack of communication. I think the registry is a great idea and I will send you my info to add to it. As trikpony suggested, we should promote each site but keep them separate. I'm having a hard enough time trying to figure out my own site right now, and trikpony has the experience with her own website.

Thats ok, as I really only left a messgae in blnpony05s guestbook (since thats where I also got my RMC invitation) and I also replied in this thread. I did not know until recently that 2 people were involved, not just one.

I also, dont mind linking stuff from RMCs future site on my sites main navigation panel, but was worried that if both sites were kept totally seperate, both would appear to an unknowing visitor that the effort, information, and club activity would be small.

Basically, what I originally wanted to do was offer to help your site with what I had, as a way of giving you everything, offering continuing help, and then removing my old temporary registry site.

Things I currently wish to add to the registry site are:
1) registry form submission
2) forum
3) links
4) red interior registry and production #s
5) merchandise

If RMC has plans for anything that I listed, please tell me so that I may concentrate on something else (There is no need for us to compete against each other)

Just e-mail Greg with your # request...I am not sure what has been taken but he can let you know. Send at least 3 choices and he will try to get you one of them. Alot of ppl have requested larger numbers so I think you have a good chance of geting what you want :beerchug: :beerchug:

It was a rainy night and a young kid in a Chevy 1500 series full size truck, headed in the opposite direction, lost control, fish-tailed and slid right in front of me. The truck flipped on its side and my car shot up over a tall curb and into someone's front yard. Luckily the crumple zones, seat belts and airbags worked perfect and my Mom and I survived with only bumps, bruises and some aches. The 2 high school kids were very lucky and escaped serious injury. One of them had to have stitches in his head but otherwise was fine.

The best part of the story was my girlfriend. I called her on my cell after the accident and asked her to come pick us up. I guess I forgot to tell her the severity and she thought it was just a minor fender bender. When she pulled up to the scene, she said she was wondering how she was going to get around a bunch of cop cars and firetrucks to get us and did not even realize that the emergency vehicles were for me. I came walking up to her & her face was absolute shock. Then she saw my car and the truck flipped on it's side... and thats when she lost it and started balling! I can laugh now looking back! Her face was priceless!
