Tire size question

A friend of mine is getting some fr500s for his 04, 9" in the front 10" in the rear, in your honest opinions what size tires look the best on the rear and why do u think this, i told him i would ask you guys cause im sure there is alot of you with 10 inch wide wheels or wider on the back and you would know, anyway any kind of help is appreciated :thumpupn:

I've got 10.5's Bullits on mine with 315/35s. I personally wouldn't got any smaller. Namely because I hate it when a tire looks to small on the rim, but again that's my personal preference.

I agree with 4.6 if he can afford 315 get them :thumpupn: I had 315 on my 17 x 10.5 bullets and loved them excellent fit :thumpupn: I currently have 295 out back on my 18"x10 03 cobra's and they fit good but I will get 305 or larger next time.

iam running 275 's all the way around , but i have 1" spacers on the back .

the width on mine ar 12"!!!!

i run 285/40/17 out back and they look good but for traction reasons when they wear out i will run 315's

Thats pretty much what I figured, I told him that I personally wouldnt put anything less than a 305 on the rear :thumpupn: Thanks for the input :thanks:
