Sorry for the misunderstang! It will end up being black against yellow. I guess we could do another one later that way with a black against yellow in each slot.

Ok I am a red car but you should elimate the best yellow and then the best black so the final ends up with one of each color...right?? Otherwise you could have 2 yellows in the final or 2 blacks. It makes sense to me the way it is...just my .02 :beerchug:

This was never about "bragging rights" it is about fun. It is hard to have the finals as black against yellow if we do 32 mini blacks against yellows. But if you guys want it that way we can do this again down the road and do it that way.

You do realize that if you do yellow vs black in all 32 matchups, there is a really good chance that it will wind up with 32 yellow or 32 black ALL in the second round. That would tell us nothing, except which club could get more members to vote. Then you would just wind up with the best yellow or black car winning the tournament. By doing it this way, pitting the very best car from each color should make it an interesting final matchup.

Not really..... you forget about the ability for each different club to screw with the results, making this less then an ideal way of doing things. You see - the way it's done now you can almost guarntee that all the members from each side will be voting for the opposition's least likely canidate to win the final matchup. But I do agree with your one satement - this will tell us nothing, except which club could get more members to vote. So the way it is setup now has the same drawbacks.

The only fair way would be to pit black against yellow in each match, and disallow any members from those groups (YMR & BMC) to vote. That is the only way I see to have everything on an equal playing field. However, I find the liklihood of this occuring remote.

In the end, it's all in good fun anyway. So why worry about the finer points and just enjoy taking part. All bragging rights aside - this is supposed to be about fun ;)
