lets see who remembers me? i had the black 88 trans am. but not as i said in my noobie post, im upgrading to a foxbody :beerchug: so yea whats teh best sounding(louder the better) exhaust set up?. and would a performer intake be better then the cobras? give me some ideas as im a lil new to the ford side of the battle

Loud exhaust setup would be a set of long tube headers, off-road h-pipe, and the original slp loudmouths. It doesn't get much louder then that. Intakes for a 302 are a dime a dozen. Just find the one the will produce in your power range( goal ). For heads I would suggest apr. But then again that is my personal pref. Ohh, and welcome to GS.

WELL U COULD CHECK OUT THE HOLLY SYSTEMAX OR POSSIBLY A TRICK FLOW, I HAVE A TRICK FLOW TRACK HEAT AND I LOVE IT,EXHAUST WISE, HELL IF ITS LOUD U WANT , GO WITH WITH A 3 IN" PROCHAMBER WITH SOME ONE CHAMBER FLOW MASTERS, THAT SHOULD DO THE TRICK, JUST HOPE U AINT TRYING TO SNEAK UP ON ANYONE.......LOL :thumpupn:

Make your car fast before you make it loud. Nothing is as embarrassing as a car that makes a lot of noise while getting its door paint peeled off...

oh no doubt. but dont these foxbodies run like a 14.8 stock? the car i might be pickin up is bone stock with a toasted tranny and it ran a 14.8 at the track.
