Hurricane Katrina has blazed a trail of devastation throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Across the Gulf Coast, Katrina engulfed thousands of homes and decimated the landscape in what could become the most destructive storm in U.S. history. so much for the information...
I am personally dealing with it. My boss's family, 25 of them are down here, bout 30 miles from Downtown Houston. I am very close with them, have been working for her for 22 years. Looks like alot of them LOST thier houses from what they can tell from the news, and my boss's uncles Salon, is UNDER 12 feet of water they have found out, which is where 4 of her cousins are employed and they have 8 kids between them. I am working on now, trying to raise funds, and goods for them. 17 of them are staying at my boss's house down the street, and the others with other relatives in Friendswood where my boss lives, and our Salon is.. The kids are going to start school here. Just real real sad. Just keep everyone in your prayers. This is just the beginning. There are ALOT of unanswered questions at this point. And, they will be here for a long, long time. Im just thankful that they made it out.
