I had a nice scare today.

Today when I was driving my stang, I got cut-off in traffic by some tourist on his cell phone. I was pissed off following behind him down the road toward a circle intersection, (NJ has like the last 2 in the country) its pretty easy to go around if you know what your doing. Anyway, this guy who cut me off, didn't see the yeild signs or he was just in too much of a hurry, but he went right into the circle without looking and got slammed by a F-350 Super Duty, knocked his car into a curb and rolled it. it happened right in front of me, and if that guy didn't cut me off, it could've been me. Really makes you start to think. Scared the hell out of me. :ugh2:


By the way, everyone was alright, no one was seriously injured.

Very lucky! But you would've responded to the traffic signs unlike some out-of-towner. Did anybody have a little itty bitty chuckle for half a second when you read the "slammed by a F350" part? or was that just me? :(

you wouldnt have been stupid enough to run the yield sign....hate to say it but im glad he got nailed (and didnt get injured), serves him right for not concentrating on driving and talking on a phone, maybe he'll think twice about his driving skills the next time he is behind the wheel

I agree you would have obeyed the yield sign so it would not have been you. I am glad the guy was not injuried though. He will think twice before talking on the phone and driving again, I hope.

Yea, in New Jersey its against the law to drive while talking on a cell phone. I would have yeilded to the traffic sign, seeing as I go around that circle 50 times a week. I dunno if you have ever looked at crash tests done on Mustangs, but they aren't the best on a side collision, much less a roll over. but hey, i'm still ok, so I can do this :woohoo: :woohoo:
