Opinions...What should we do??

Ok guys, heres the deal....The dude we traded the 96 for the 90 now wants the coupe back, for the 96. The coupe is still pretty much the same way it was when we traded give or take a few gauges and badges. All the motor work on the 96 was 4 years of my husbands hard work, and our friend built the coupe, and he wants it back to make it a full blown drag car. As much as my husband would love to do that to the coupe we just dont have the means to do it right now so the coupe pretty much sits in our yard. The 96 has a brand new custom paint job and new seats and the guy is gonna fix the A/C for us. So our question is this, what do you think we should do??? all my work is in the 96, I put the hood,cobra front bumper, cobra R rims and put a motor out of a 01 gt + the boltons. all he did was paint the car and put in new seats. :dance:

What exactly do you mean??? The 96 was mine at one time and i traded my friend for the 90....now my friend wants the 90 back and he is gonna give me the 96 back....the only thing dude did was paint it and put a new paint job, the motor work was what i did to the 96.

that 96 looks sick.. my opinion get the 96 and throw a cobra spoiler on it and move it as far back as it will go on the trunk... drooling as i say that.. lol.. and lower it about 1.5 inch front and rear.. :devil:

if I desideto get the 96 it will have a spoiler put back on it I still have the saleen wing I took off it before I traded it :dance:

keep the 90. Notchbacks in good condition are a rare find.

I am partial to the fox body mustang, but the 96 actually looks in better shape than the 90. It has more value than the 90 with the new paint, seats etc. You say it has the V8 from an 01, I'd swap back and take the better of the two cars. If mine wasn't a convertible or a GT I'd trade up for a 95 or better.

A decent fox body is getting hard to find. You prior efforts in the 96 make it more appealing to you, save the paint and interior. If I had the fox you have I would keep it. My .02

You say that the coupe justs sits in the yard. If you have what you want in the 96, then go for the 96, but you need to ask yourself this first. Why did you go for the 90 in the first place? I like the 96 it looks badass. I've got the 93 Vert side pipes and mach I hood, If I was posed with the oppurtunity right now to trade up to a car like the one your being offered right now I would most likely do it. And I like the Foxes as well. Both cars are sweet though, I can understand your dilema.
