MD/PA Poker Run & Car Show!!

The Mustang Club of Maryland is participating in a Poker Run & All-Models Car Show on Saturday Aug-27th in Phoenix, MD (Between Baltimore & PA line). I'm planning on attending along with 8-10 other BMC members/cars. Here's the info:

Poker Run for Charity
- Starts at 8am at the Jacksonville Fire Dept.
- Cruise to 5 other fire Depts (50-miles total).
- At each Fire Station you purchase a playing card.
- Return to Jacksonville station to see who has best poker hand(s) & prizes awarded.

Car Show
- The car show is from 9am-3pm.
- Registration is from 9am-12pm
- There's a $12 fee
- The top 30 cars get trophies & also best of show award
- 1st 100 cars to register get a plaque
- The top participating club gets an award & recognition (lets get another one!)

I am meeting up with some other BMC members at my house sometime between 6am & 7am for donuts & coffee. We will leaving around 7:15am-7:30am and cruising up together for the poker run. If you are interested in the breakfast, PM me & I will send directions & address. Otherwise we'll meet you there. BTW, you do not need to participate in both events if you wish (the events are two seperate deals).

It's about 15-20minutes north of Baltimore. Take 695 to Dulaney Valley Rd and follow to Jarrettsville Pike & turn on Sweet Air Rd. I included a map and an address so you can find it using Yahoo maps. Let me know if you need further information. Hope to see you there. :beerchug:

If its on sweet air road then I must have driven past it once or twice. I know of 4 shows that day and can't make up my mind which one I will go to. Do you know if it is judged or peoples choice?

I think it's judged but not sure. The poker run should be a cool cruise! 50 total miles between 5 fire stations.

C'mon MD, PA, DE & VA...Show some Mustang pride & let's show those Dodge & bow tie boys which car has the best following! The cruise should be a blast and the car show offers awards including best participating club!!!

Did they still have this show even though it rained? I got talked into some show in the city that was supposed to be real big but it was a total flop!! I'm so pissed :cussing:

Yes, the show did happen. We got very light sprikle of rain twice but not enough to put the top up. I had a blast & even won the poker run prize with 3-Q's. Here's some pics:
