i didnt think you could have valve train noise problems in a sixxer. anyway, pull the valve covers, check for valve lash, and tighten the rockers down until theres no lash, and give it another half turn. dont tighten them blindly, you might bend a valve

probably a b16...i'm assuming hes got an SI, and i dont think anyone would hack up an SI, unless the motor went bad
