question over air intake...

i'll put a picture up soon but the air intake on the 05 seems a bit crunched... little S shaped... wouldn't it be better if it was a straight shot from the filter to the engine?

btw... i'm not a car person but i like to figure stuff out and ask questions

Well we all know Ford isn't the greatest when it comes to air boxes, you can probably buy an aftermarket CAI that would be straight through.
