Ok here's the deal. Driving the car and out of nowhere the car starts bogging out. Feels like the fuel is cutting in and out. Check the FP gague and that's exactly what it is. Needle is going way down then halfway back up and then way down again. There is def. something wrong with the fuel system somewhere. Either the fuel pump is shitting out, or the fuel filter is clogged up. Usally when I turn the key foward I wait for the pressure to get up to just below 40 then I turn it over. Now It won't even get up there anymore and the pump is alot louder then it used to be.

My question is this.....

This is what the fuel system looks like from the back....

Tht red part being the fuel pump and the blue part being the fuel filter correct....??

I took the blue part out today but could not figure out if this thing opens up or not. Is there a fuel filter inside this thing, or is that the whole filter itself and I have to buy the whole piece...??

Here are some close up of the blue piece....

Any help you guys could give me is greatly appreciated...I'm hoping that it's just the filter and not the pump. The fuel system in this car is not that old at all and I can't see why the pump would shit out already. Anybody have any experiences with these Aeromotive systems, are they know for shitting out....??

My moneys on the filter. I would replace the filter and see if that fixes the problem :beerchug:
