Most of you know me and that I am a somewhat good person to get along with, etc.
In Alabama, we have an oddity. TRUCKS. Mainly trucks that haul gravel, or trees to pulp plants. Problem is that the truckers are VERY inconsiderate, cut you off, etc, and a state law only requires them to have laibility insurance.
So I am driving to work at 6;05 am and a Gravel truck approaches me from the other lane hauling buttocks with his load not covered. Then BAM!!! The noise scares the living lower posterior fecal matter out of me.
I get to work and look around, Thank Goodness no damage. Then Stacy takes the car and my son notices a fist sized fracture in the windshield.
Cost $285 to replace the windshield with the pony!!
That puts the Lambo doors behind at least 2 months!!

You think that's bad... in Florida we are not even allowed to go after trucking companies that drop shit on the road and damage cars. They'd get sued too often and the state protects them.
About a year after I bought a brand new car I was driving down a major highway when a shovel flew off the back of a truck that was three or four vehicles in front of me. The shovel landed in the road and the tip of the shovel was then struck by the tire of a car in the next lane. The shovel bounced up in the air and landed right in front of my passenger side tire. I swerved but couldn't miss it. I ran over the flat end of the shovel causing the shovel to flip up on it's end. Now picture this... a shovel standing up straight with the handle in the air going all down the side of my car. Broke and mashed my passenger side mirror and scraped my rear quarter.
Nothing I could do about it. I know how it feels. I feel for you.
