Photochop - Got Stang? Business Cards.... ?

Anyone interested in this? Kinda like your signature in business are format with your information posted on it that uses your cars images and stuff like name, a phone number and whatever else someone wants?

Just an idea. Many here do shows and could have business cards to hand out at them when they meet someone. I could create and post. Then the person could save and print as needed. I could also print and mail any number of them, but that costs ink, wear and tear along with paper. Post here so we can see is anyone is even interested in this type of thing. Like I said, just a post to detect interest. Willing to work on samples if people want to see them.

Sounds like a good idea but for best quality business cards should really be done in illustrator. The print quality is a lot better. If u want i think i have the 10-out print template for business cards if u want me to email it to u.

Sure, send me the template crimsonblack@hotmail.com. You can create a business card in any format though. You just have to import that completed image (if it's done as a photo) and then print it in whatever software package you want to use. You can even take the image to a professional place and have them print it on the type of card you wish.

Thanks for the template offer.

Reich, I screwed up your post by accident and hit edit rather than quote. Sorry. Please send me the template. I would appreciate it... crimsonblack@hotmail.com

Didn't cobra94 try to get this started with you about 2 months ago J?

His cards are way cool. Crimson no bust on you, I just find it funny now that this seems like a new thing.

I can create a basic design and then include the images of each person's car in their business card with the text of their desire, which can include their name, address, phone number, email, fax, etc.

The designed, saved as a bmp or jpg can then be taken to a OfficeMax or OfficeDepot that prints business cards. This will allow the person to pick the style and quality of paper that they desire. The cost then will be based on the number of cards printed and cost of paper chosen. Likely in the $40 to $60 range. But they'll have great business cards with their car on it.

I'll work up some samples that we can all look at and maybe come up with two to four designs to chose from and then add the cars from there. Will take some time, but might as well do it right if we all are interested in doing it.

I'll check around for some quality business card stock. I have some now, but it's not really created for heavy image that can print 720dpi photo quality images, and that is what we need, and it's something that an OfficeMax or OfficeDepot would have for themselves, but not for customers to purchase.

I currently have one sig to work on, and one 600x800 desktop banner for someone else. Once I have those commitments handled I'll start on the basic card designs. I'll likely go with the brighter backgrounds like red, yellow, blue and green maybe. It will have the gotstang.com text on the card as well. I'm on it though.

None taken. I never saw the post about it. If someone else is doing this, that's cool with me. I was just thinking about it the other day and thought maybe some people might be interested. Especially with the number of people who meet and greet with others at shows and events. And it's a good way to pass around the gotstang.com website.

Ya know J maybe they were not customized like Crimson is doing, but it promoted the Gotstang website, and it had the GS Logos and website address plastered all over it. I quess the advertisment at the show wasn't what the site needed.
