I'm getting a spare engine (87 5.0L) for a long-term rebuild project. The one in my LX has a big Edelbrock gas-sucker. I'm thinking EFI for the rebuild project - any suggestions. I'd like at least 300rwhp, preferably closer to 400 without spray or boost. :hmmm:

If you can get all the EFI gear that would be the way to go. Make sure you do mass air kit. That's where the quick bolt-ons can get you where you want to go.

Thanks, I got the block today - just needs to be honed a little. It came with forged aluminum pistons and the stock manifold. :hmmm: I'm thinking the equation might look like MASS AIR + DECENT HEADS = ENOUGH POWER 4 NOW :naughty:
